AC Compliance is based in Ireland and provides regulatory consultancy services in Europe and the UK. This Privacy Policy is designed to let you know what information AC Compliance collects in relation to our clients, how we store it and how we use it.
What information do we collect, and why?
We collect information about you when you contact us, become a prospect or client, engage in discussions with us, or when we provide you with Services.
We collect the following information for one of these purposes: name; title; e-mail address; place of work and phone number.
You may need to provide additional personal data to us for a regulatory filing or other registration, this may include birth date or other identification details, this will be stored by us for the length of our engagement with you and for no more than 2 years thereafter, to deal with queries etc.
We do not use your personal data for any other purpose other than for the provision of services and relevant information to you and your firm.
The personal data that we collate on you and/or your employees is limited to what is necessary for us to provide the services for which we are appointed and is used solely for the provision of those services or communications with you. We would, if required for a Service or regulatory filing, give information to a company other than AC Compliance only when you instruct us to do so – to one of your or our professional advisers or to a regulator for a filing.
If you agree, we may also contact you to provide regulatory updates and research, or to notify you of relevant events, conferences, training events or workshops related to the subject for which you retained our services. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please email ailish@ac-compliance.com
EEAWe will not transfer your information to countries outside of the UK or European Economic Area (“EEA”), unless specifically instructed by you to do so, as part of the Services for which we are appointed.

As noted above, we may use certain information for communications related to upcoming events. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please advise us by email at: ailish@ac-compliance.com
Unless we hear from you otherwise, we propose to continue to remain in contact with you. If we do not have communications with you for more than 36 months, we will presume that you are no longer interested in hearing from us.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. Should you wish to request details or copies of the personal data we hold on you, please contact us at ailish@ac-compliance.com to request this.
You may ask us to correct or remove information that you think is inaccurate.
We keep information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is processed. In doing so we may retain such information for a reasonable time to prevent fraudulent activities, for reporting regulatory requirements and to protect ourselves in the event of any legal claims and complaints.
